Donations



Suggested Donations for Food Parcels


Please note all donations must be within "Best Before" Date


We are not allowed to give out food that is past its Best Before Date - this will have to be disposed of.


Frozen foods can be accepted if brought direct to our premises during opening times. 


Some suggested suitable items (but there are many more!) are:


Milk (UHT), Sugar, Tea, Coffee


Cereals, Oats, Cereal Bars


Soup, Pasta, Pasta Sauces, Rice, Noodles


Tomatoes, Beans, Peas, Kidney Beans


Tinned Meat, Tinned Fish


Prepared meals in tins, or dried in packets


Fruit Juice, Tins of Sponge Pudding, Rice Pudding, Fruit, Custard


Biscuits, Snack bars, Jams, Marmalade, Marmite


Soap, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Shaving Foam, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste


Nappies, Toiletries, Feminine products


Treats for children such as sweets, chocolate, lollipops etc.


Pet food



We are also pleased to receive cash donations that we spend on buying items that are in short supply in our stocks so we can provide balanced meals to clients. 


We pay no rent for our premises which are provided FREE by the Salvation Army and all of our team are volunteers and receive no wage or salary for their efforts.


A food bin is available to drop donations in Irthlingborough:


St. Peter's Church, Methodist Church, Salvation Army Shop, Co-op & Irthlingborough Library


Other locations: Churches in Little Addington, Great Addington, Woodford and Ringstead
